About Lisburn U3A

Lisburn U3A provides a valuable social element to the life of the City of Lisburn. Our full programme of meetings and social events and a varied range of activity groups ensures that a wide variety of interests is covered.

LU3A aims to advance the education of members, and to assist them in pursuing their interests within a welcoming, secure, social setting. Members with similar interests meet in small groups, either weekly, fortnightly, or monthly and at various locations (see our Activities Page).

When several people express an interest in a particular new activity they are encouraged and helped to form a group. They agree on a group leader, decide where to meet, agree on a time and on a schedule.

Our activities are a true reflection of our members’ interests.
